Caught In A Wedge

Happy Monday Lovers!

How was your week/weekend? For me it was yet another physically and mentally demanding one. I felt like i was on pins and needles all week - the worst. In times like these i usually turn to my favorite kind of therapy: music and shopping. The music part has been easy but the shopping not so much; i've had to watch every penny since the beginning of the year and have held of on buying anything for myself. Being responsible sucks. Plus i also recently shelled out a pretty penny towards my summer vacation but that's another story. Today i figured i could stand to swindle a few dollars and thought of what i would most like to add to my wardrobe...? And the decision came easy.

I have been on top of the Sneaker Wedge fashion since it first hit the streets and when i think of what i want now, this is it. It's a combination of both fashion chic and comfort. I am constantly on my feet (80% of the time in heels) and something like this would allow me the freedom of pure comfort all while maintaining my stylish integrity. It's a win win situation.

As i began my search i saw there was many great options from which to choose from - i found my selection all at a one-stop-shop, Bloomingdale's. They are all amazing looking but the decision maker was most definitely the ChloĆ©  Gondola Wedge Sneaker (Number 7). Perhaps Seven will be my lucky number after all. The DKNY came in a close second. And for the daydreamer in me there's the Guiseppe Zanotti.

Which is your favorite wedge sneaker?

  2. I love the Chloe ones too but couldn't justify the money for something trendy. But I ended up with the more sporty wedge sneakers from Nike and they are so comfortable (and I scored them on sale)

  3. Yeah, it is pretty expensive, Z. You are right. My next favorite would be the DKNY. At $165 it feels a little more justifiable.
