Did you watch the Grammy’s? I was glued to my television. This years’ show was worth watching and that says a lot. The Grammy’s like most award shows has been loosing its touch and simultaneously its audience, but last nights show has slightly restored my faith. I hope I’m not alone on this one. Ha!
Things my roommate and i did during Grammy watching time: scarf down a larger salad each plus a dozen small homemade babysitters pizza (as she calls them), two bottles of wine, and lots at shouting at the television for Taylor Swift to SIT DOWN already.
In the midst of it all we also managed to give ourselves a mani pedi. This was not my intended post for today but i was really proud of my creative manicure design genius (don’t you dare take that away from me), that i just had to share my latest creation. Marble Nail Art.
The effect is pretty easy and self-explanatory. The images below is all you need to see how easy it is to achieve the marble look. You can work with any color combination you want and create fun marble-like effects.
ONE GENEROUS BASE COAT
A DROP OF BLENDING / COMPLEMENTING COLOR
USE A CLEAR VARNISH TO BLEND COLORS TOGETHER
CONTINUE TO SPREAD LIGHTLY UNTIL YOU GET THE DESIRED MARBLE EFFECT.
DRINK WINE TO CELEBRATE YOUR NEW PRETTY NAIL ART.
Happy Monday Lovers!
Here’s to starting the week on a good and positive note.
